The CompTIA Community Emergency Response Team (ERT) is a group of dedicated CompTIA Community members who have either experienced a security incident or can provide guidance to solution providers that have been victimized. The ERT is here to help you navigate the critical steps you need to take during a security emergency. As a volunteer-led program, this service is available to any solution provide at no cost as a service to the industry.
If you are a CompTIA Community member and would like to become an ERT volunteer, please submit the form on the right.
The CompTIA Community ERT supplements your formal incident response relationships. We cannot replace those roles but offer support where they do not: your health, families, employee well-being, and experienced guidance. Be sure to contact your insurance and legal counsel first.
Our team comes together to identify program requirements, legal protections and operational workflow via sub-committee work groups.
